AIChatBot

Terms of use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the AIChatBot app ("the app") and the service behind it, run by Jons Apps Ltd, 2 Wilton Street, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 7EU, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

The app is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms supplement the Standard EULA. They do not replace it. The Standard EULA is the licence for the app. These terms cover use of the AIChatBot service. If you do not agree to the Standard EULA, do not download or use the app.

The app

The app lets you chat with an AI assistant, use AI writing and helper tools, and create small games in Game Lab. Replies and games are created by an AI model from OpenAI. There are no accounts. Free use has limits. A subscription gives you more use, unlocks all tools, and removes ads.

Who can use it

You must be 13 and over. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app to:

OpenAI's usage policies also apply to what you ask the AI to do, including a Game Lab description or a shared game. We may limit, suspend or block an install that breaks these rules.

AI replies can be wrong

Not professional advice

The app does not give medical, legal, financial, tax, mental health or other professional advice. Don't use it instead of a qualified professional. In an emergency, call 999 (or your local emergency number).

Subscriptions and payments

Free use and limits

Free use has an allowance that resets regularly; the app shows how much you have left. Subscriptions may also have fair-use limits to prevent abuse. We may change these limits. We check limits on our server, and reinstalling the app doesn't reset them.

Game Lab

Game Lab lets you create, play, change and share small games made by the AI. Acceptable use applies to what you type and to games you share.

Ads

The free version shows full-screen ads from Google AdMob. A subscription removes them. See our privacy policy for the advertising identifier, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and how Google may use information from the app. From the next app update, people in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland will be asked through Google's User Messaging Platform whether to allow personalised ads, and will be able to change that choice later in the app. This version of the app does not include that prompt yet.

Availability and changes to the app

We try to keep the app working, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or stop features, including the AI models used.

Our liability

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Remember to cancel any subscription in your Apple settings, because deleting the app doesn't cancel it. We may stop providing the app to an install that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using the app and cancel your subscription.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes about these terms go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. The Standard EULA has its own governing-law clause for the licence of the app.
